MEET THE FOUNDER
Entrepreneur, philanthropist, and founder of Referrals Opportunities Respect, Charlene has long been a groundbreaker discussing iconic moments in her life, and overcoming depression and personal loss. Charlene has carved out her own unique paths to success, empowerment and personal growth.
Despite being accepted into Concordia University's bachelor program in Marketing. Charlene’s life took an unexpected turn when she became a single mother fighting to put food on the table, while designing her own path towards a career in fashion and events, and earning the support of industry veterans.
She understood the culture, took note of what moved audiences to support well-orchestrated sold-out, award winning productions, and embraced it immediately as a one-woman street team.
Over time, her 2 Can Win imprint invited a diverse audience at the nexus of both high society and urban culture, capturing the attention of mid to large scale production teams, including: galas, non-profit benefits, runway, lifestyle, concert and private events.
After a hard-fought journey enduring challenging workplace dynamics, conflict, mistreatment, severe depression, personal and financial loss, throughout it all she has helped to guide careers, drive sales, gain visibility and manage events for established entrepreneurs, prominent beauty brands, global fashion houses, and national retail brands in the Canadian landscape, including Holt Renfrew (Frédéric Malle - Estée Lauder Companies), and Fendi (LVMH).
Based in Toronto and raised in Montreal's storied neighborhood of Little Burgundy (historically known as Canada's Harlem of the North), Charlene is a mother to one adult son.
